Terms of Use
These Terms apply when you use the MediaVault+ app. By tapping "I agree" in the app, you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
1. Your collection
MediaVault+ helps you catalogue your physical media. Your collection stays on your device unless you sign in and turn on cloud backup or sharing. You're responsible for what you enter and share. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why.
2. Accounts
You can use most of the app without an account. If you create one, keep your sign-in details safe and give accurate information. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
3. Public profiles and sharing
If you choose a username, you get a public profile. Your username, display name, bio, profile picture, follower counts and the items you choose to share can be seen by anyone, including people who aren't signed in. Only share what you're happy to make public.
4. Community Rules
Don't post objectionable content in your username, display name, bio, profile picture or anything you share. That includes:
- hate speech, or attacks on people for who they are;
- harassment, bullying or threats;
- sexual or pornographic content;
- graphic violence;
- spam, scams or misleading links;
- pretending to be someone else, or sharing someone's private information.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. We remove content that breaks these rules and can suspend or permanently remove accounts, without warning.
A word filter blocks some names and words. It doesn't catch everything, and getting past it doesn't make content acceptable.
5. Reporting and blocking
Tap ••• on a profile or a shared item, or press and hold one in a list, to report it or to block the person. We aim to review every report within 24 hours. If removed content is posted again, we remove it again, and repeated posting leads to the account being removed.
Blocking removes follows between you, stops either of you following the other, and hides each of you from the other in the app. Because profiles and shared items are public, blocking doesn't stop someone seeing them in other ways. If someone is abusing you, report them.
6. Information from other services
Titles, covers, prices and other details come from public catalogues and other services. They can be incomplete or wrong. Prices are estimates, not offers. Check anything important before you rely on it.
7. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app or its services. For example, don't try to break or overload them, get at other people's data, scrape them in bulk, or use them for anything unlawful.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or remove an account that breaks these Terms.
9. No warranty, and limits
The app is provided "as is", without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data you didn't back up. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, the app will ask you to agree again.
